During the five-week training program, participants received content on topics such as awareness and self-management, empathy, emotion coaching, perceived stress and coping strategies, and the use of emotional intelligence in daily life. The program was conducted by PDAREM specialists Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eliz Volkan, Clinical Psychologist Sinan Törer, and Clinical Psychologist Zeynep Suiçmez, where theoretical knowledge was supported with practical activities.
Organized in both Turkish and English, the program was designed to be open to students from different faculties and cultural backgrounds. Participants who successfully completed the training process, received their certificates during the ceremony. Through the workshops held at the end of the program, it was aimed to help students apply the knowledge and skills they acquired to their daily lives.
The initiative carried out by CIU PDAREM aimed to contribute not only to students’ academic development but also to their social relationships, emotional resilience, and personal development processes. It was also stated that similar activities carried out within the university will continue to support the multidimensional development of students.
