In recent years, database companies have been signing Read and Publish agreements. This  contract seeks to shift the contracted payment from a library or group of libraries to a publisher away from subscription-based reading and towards open access publishing.
Thus this opens the path to publish  only in selected publications that meet certain criteria.  
Follow the webinar announcements that are organized at our university regarding these agreements with Springer and Wiley companies.
The Library Directorate is always ready to provide any kind of support writers may need  on these issues. Wiley company has prepared a webinar series for this purpose and variety of resources are available.
Tools like ChatGPT can be extremely useful for writers when preparing a manuscript but they need to be used with caution.
You can find Wiley policies regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence on Wiley Author Services website.
Wiley's new Manuscript Language Checker is a free tool for writers and researchers that analyzes texts and detects grammatical, spelling, punctuation and style errors. The Manuscript Language Checker is highly beneficial for the researchers whose native language is not English. 
You can visit the updated journal metrics pages which have recently been edited to include more comprehensive data about each journal, including citation impact, acceptance rate, and publication rate—the key metrics authors want to know.
