Certificates Presented for Graduation Projects at CIU
The Graduation Project Exhibition organized by the Faculty of Engineering at Cyprus International University (CIU) concluded with certificates being presented by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kuşaf, to the students whose projects ranked among the top three, as well as to their academic advisors. Following the academic evaluation process, the highest-achieving projects were ranked and awarded certificates based on the results of the assessment.
Projects prepared by students from different engineering disciplines were evaluated in terms of technical competence, innovation, feasibility, and their potential to provide solutions to real-life problems. As a result of the evaluations, the three projects receiving the highest scores were awarded certificates of achievement.
The “Do-It-Yourself Autonomous Drone with a Self-Balancing Hovering System” project took first place. The project was supervised by Assist. Prof. Dr. Fuat Uyguroğlu.
Second place was awarded to the “Classification of Parkinson’s Disease Using Gait Analysis” project, developed under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Nasıfoğlu.
Third place went to the “Low-Carbon-Emission Villa Design” project, completed under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Shihab İbrahim.
The Graduation Project Exhibition provided students with an opportunity to transform the knowledge and skills they acquired throughout their engineering education into innovative projects and showcase their work. The event concluded with certificates being presented in recognition of the successful projects and the academic advisors who contributed to the process.
