CIU First Gala and Award Night

Cyprus International University (CIU) media team established as a student initiative organized its first Gala and Awards Night with the aim of honoring the achievements and reinforcing the unity of the university community.  

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees Mete Boyacı, Coordinator of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Ahmet Adalıer, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkay Özgör, General Secretary Assoc. Prof. Dr. Asil Azimli and CU StartUp Studio representatives attended the event that brought together students, alumni and academicians.

The awards were presented in a variety of categories ranging  from scientific research to global impact, from student and alumni achievements to environmental sustainability projects. The contributions of student organizations were also recognized at the event,  and music, dance and poetry performances added color to the night.

The speeches that were delivered during the night emphasized CIU's innovative vision, support for the entrepreneurship ecosystem and the importance the community attaches to collective success.
